You might actually be surprised by the temperatures.
They just don't seem as low/cold as the thermometer says.
Well, at least Anchorage seems to be helped by it's location. I haven't traveled to places further North, like Fairbanks, the North Slope nor Barrow. I have heard that they all get some pretty cold winters. Cold that seems to seep through even the warmest of coats.
I will try to divide up Alaska some, so that you can find out about the different temperatures in different locations throughout Alaska soon.
