Alaska ::

The time changes in Alaska

Yes, in the summer, we have long days where the sun seems to never fully set.
During the summer they say we have about 8 hours of "night". But I'll tell you, there seems to be only about 4 hours of night, and to me it seems more like dusk.
But, that just gives you plenty of time to do everything.
During the winter it does get quite dark, even during the "day".
They say that we have about 8 hours of light/day. But even that seems to be just a dusk for the most part.
Hope you did everything that you wanted during the summer because there just doesn't seem to be enough daylight to do things in the winter.
There are still plenty to do during the winter. Just not a lot of daylight.
